I’m visiting the dolomites, more precisely South Tyrol, since well over 40 years. Basically, longer than I can actively remember. This beautiful region of Italy therefore holds a special place in my heart.
Already last year I visited South Tyrol again with my camera and probably even more importantly my telephoto lens. This resulted in some pictures that I’m very happy with, capturing the beautiful landscapes in a for me unique new way.
This is maybe especially visible in pictures utilising the compression only a telephoto lens provides. I still feel I have a lot to learn, but after revisiting South Tyrol this year, my list of amazing photo spots continued to grow.
